Heart felt message to softball parents: stop wishing for something different!

This is another one from Proactive Coaching. I really LOVE their Facebook page, if you haven’t liked it yet, you can do so here. I recently purchased some resources from them, but haven’t had a chance to check it out just yet. I’ll certainly let you know when I do.

In the mean time, this post by them is SO spot on.

Thinking about parents wishing their child was something different than what they are absolutely breaks my heart. It’s not always easy, but do your best to cherish your child(ren) as they are rather than as you wish them to be.  We only have ONE shot at this!

message to parents
How do you want your child to remember you when you’re gone? Be that parent now, as often as possible, and ESPECIALLY when they struggle. That’s when they need your love and support the most.

What if they were gone tomorrow? What if you were gone tomorrow? Would you regret the choices you made today?

Be thoughtful and mindful of the choices you make. You never know which interaction will be your last. #noregrets
