There may be a good reason your daughter is “always” sleeping

When your daughter seems like she’s “always sleeping,” there’s a reason …

First, because women apparently NEED more sleep than men (generally speaking) AND because …

“If you are an athlete or you are involved in sports, you know how important it is for the body to get a good sleep.

A study conducted by the University of Stanford acknowledged that the football players got improved by over 50% when they decided to sleep 10 hours per night for around 7 weeks.

The body improves, gets stronger, they are more concentrated on the play and feel rested and boosted with energy.”

Side note: teens often won’t go to sleep “early” to get enough rest. Their biological sleep patterns shift later, for both sleeping and waking, in the teen years. According to the National Sleep Foundation, it’s natural for them to not be able to sleep before 11:00pm. That, coupled with early school start times … well, let’s just say it’s not the most ideal combo.

So if your teen makes the most of opportunities to sleep, it may be a good idea to let them 🙂
