You Don’t Have to Know It All

Contrary to what people seem to think, “I don’t know” is a valid response.

Just don’t let it be a default, or cop out, answer that keeps you stuck or shuts you down from even trying to do, achieve, be, create, have something you really want to go after.

As a parent, as a coach, you’re not going to know every right solution or choice.

That’s okay.

As a developing human being, your child (or your athletes) won’t either.

That’s okay too.

Learn to be at peace with not knowing right now, just don’t let it stop you in your tracks. If you notice the frustration of it causing you to feel stuck, take deep breath and assess the situation. Do you really not know? Or does it just feel difficult and uncertain right now?

Decide. Then move forward.

Keep going <3
