Defense matters.
They can’t win if they don’t score.
But offense matters too because you can’t win if you can’t score either.
And, in softball, your defense can’t score for you, nor can they create a turnover that sets up an “easy” score.
There are no “easy scores” in softball. The only way to score is to get all the way around the bases and cross home plate safely. Period.
