Excellence isn’t something you do TO your child …

Hey mama, remember …

You’re trying to kindle a flame within your child, to fuel a fire NOT fill a vessel.

The first approach has you WORKING WITH what’s already there and magnifying it, bringing out more of it.

The second causes you to try to DO something TO the “vessel” in order to improve it.

You cannot DO excellence TO someone else. You can only develop (kindle/fuel) it from within.

QUESTION: Are you trying to do things TO your child/team to get them to do better?

Or are you working WITH them to ignite, and bring forth, the fire that is already there?
